Sam, at Daily Dose of Imagery, has a photo on his blog today that repesents a possible solution to the dumb-ass megabins that the city is testing on Toronto streets this summer. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

City Councillor Michael Walker, my former councillor and one-time St. Clair LRT opponent, gave Royson James the following explanation for why he didn't participate in yesterday's City-Council-endorsed Car Free Day:

"I have a Lincoln and I'm proud of it. It's named after the great emancipator, Abraham Lincoln. I love my country, I love my wife, I love my family and I love my Lincoln."

I guess the hardest part of using the TTC to get from the Yonge & Davisville area to downtown is wanting to. That, and knowing what country Abraham Lincoln was president of.

Yesterday's eye has a history of the Toronto Pork Authority.
